I saw someone wearing headphones in the park and this image came into my head. It seems so weird to me to not want to hear what is going on in the natural world. I love the subtle sounds that nature creates.

The cute girl is actually my roommate, who was kind enough to pose for sketches and reference photos.

I mostly used Photoshop CS2, but I did take it into Painter a couple times to give it a little more texture.

I agree!! Even though I love music and listen to it frequently, when out in nature the best sounds are of nature itself.
